Port of Portsmouth

Harbour Information, Terminals and Facilities
(Portsmouth, Hampshire, England, UK)

Portsmouth is one of Britain's best-connected ferry ports, linking passengers with nine different destinations across the waters. The city is also the historical home of the Royal Navy. The harbour is located on the southern coast of England in the scenic Hampshire region.

There are three terminals in the extensive harbour. The Continental Ferry Port is the UK's second busiest and is situated just to the north of the Naval Base.

To the south of the Naval Base, you will find the Isle of Wight (Ryde) Passenger Ferry Terminal.

The Isle of Wight (Fishbourne) Car Ferry Terminal is south of the passenger ferry terminal.

The main Continental Ferry Terminal offers facilities such as an information desk, a cafeteria, a bar, newsagent and gift shop, a bureau de change, photo booth, baby care room, payphones and public fax. At the end of the boarding lanes, you can find the travel centre, which offers a café, a bureau de change and motoring and gift shops. Facilities at the two Isle of Wight Ferry Terminals include refreshment facilities, cloakrooms, public phones, disabled toilets and nearby parking.
